Before Your Appointment

Thank you for choosing Extreme Steam Cleaning! We are looking forward to working with you and bringing new life to your floors. Here’s a helpful checklist that you can use to help prepare for the day of cleaning. 

  1. (Optional) Move furniture and items out of the way
  2. Please keep driveway clear and move vehicles to the road
  3. Please secure pets in another area of the house
  4. If you know of any stains or areas you are concerned about let us know where and what they are (if you know) to help us know how to treat them. Please do not attempt to treat them yourself as it may permanently set them.
What To expect with Carpet or Tile and Grout Cleaning

Step 1: Pre-Inspection/Estimate
One of our professional team members will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify possibly permanent stains and give you a thorough evaluation of expected results

Step 2: Moving Furniture
Our basic pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces are available with an additional charge. One of our team members can quote the exact cost of any heavier pieces.

Step 3: Spot Treatment/Pet-urine treatment
Difficult spots and pet-urine stains or odors are pre-treated with special solutions that can increase the chances of removal.

Step 4: Pre-spray
A preconditioning agent is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning.

Step 5: Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using the Rotovac 360i, the world’s best technology for deep cleaning carpet and tile&grout, without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind.

Step 6: Neutralizer
Every carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, or upholstery cleaning that we do is pH balanced and rinsed thoroughly so that there is no sticky residue or soap left behind, that way your floors and furniture don’t track up faster. This also leaves your carpet soft and fresh.

Step 7: Post Spot
Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many different spotting solutions.

Step 8: Professional Carpet Protector
For longer life of your carpet and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector applied to your carpet.

Step 9: Groom Your Carpet
(Cut-Pile Carpets Only) Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.

Step 10: Speed Dry
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying. This step is available for a small additional investment and also for return customers at no cost.

Final Step: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to show you the carpet cleaning results and make sure that you are completely satisfied with the job.

Appointment Time

We make every effort to keep our appointments, however on occasion we may have to adjust our arrival time. We will not rush through one job to arrive on time, By being prepared, you can help us maintain our schedule. If for some reason you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible.
